After coaching my clients, suddenly I have a hypothesis that purpose brings out a potential creativity in our own personalities. We often fail because of confuse the end and the means. I have three reasons, why purpose brings out a potential creativity.

Firstly, the purpose makes unity among several activities. For example, we have a little time to create something new because of many activities, we have to do. If we do not think about purpose, many activities conflict with each other. In my rowing days, I was annoyed with consisting of studying, rowing boat and earning money At last I get conclusion, I wanted to get confidence, through these activities. I found one purpose united these all.

Secondly, the purpose makes a focus in daily phenomenon. We can find new point of view, when we have a purpose. We are surrounded by too much information, so filter out unnecessary things, as we need much time. In my rowing days,

Thirdly we can continue to try and err, granted that we fail many times through purpose. Even though I can escape from pain one time, I can not throw away my life. In my rowing days, we lost a race, in spite of hard training. We thought it was like finding a needle in a haystack, never to win a race. However, we owed it to purpose, we continued training and we won a race of inter colleges as a final goal.

I have a hypothesis that purpose brings out a potential creativity in our own personalities. My purpose is proof of this hypothesis. I start to gather information on the philosophy of 500 companies.

　Because, company consist of human being. Human being need mean of life. Some people say it is too difficult, I can live without a purpose. However, I disagree for two reason.

　Firstly, if don’t have a purpose, we become beasts. Our primary purpose, it is called instinct, is eating. If we don’t think about a higher purpose, we can say “we are human being”.

　Secondly, our ultimate question is “what do I live for?” or “what do I die for?”, “why do I withstand painful situation?” . It means we want to know a purpose of life. We can’t stop asking it.

　In conclusion, it is necessary to make our purpose clear, if we are to live as human being. Equally, it is necessary to make a higher purpose, more than making a profit, as to sustain company.
